On Friday, November 22, 2024, Artesia High School's Business Professionals of America club hosted its first ever Super Stars field day. This day was designed to be a fun day and bring happiness and awareness to the students in our Level-D and Access programs at the high school.
The day was packed with a variety of games that included Balloon Volleyball, Potato-Sack Races, Egg and Spoon Races and many other fun games. Local chapter members of BPA worked together to play games, conversate, and make new friendships with everyone.
The day was planned by a small committee that had volunteered their time and efforts to make this day possible. The committee members included Emily Soto, Irene Vasquez, Makayla Ashdown and Zach Sedillos. All of the committee members were dedicated to brightening the studentsā day and showing them how awesome they were.
After all the games were played, each student was honored with an award and celebration! The first annual Super Stars field day was not only created by fun memories but also brought in feelings of belonging to the students. This was by far our favorite community service project and BPA looks forward to it next year!
